At first glance, it can be puzzling why virtually ALL schools and institutions wouldn’t just solve their own problems. These organizations are swarming with persons who work in Education, therefore one might expect that, by working in this area, they really would know how to do their job well: from giving a proper structure to the organization so that the work of the teacher is made easier, to the training of their professionals. Therefore each one of them, still one’s own thinking, should know how to deliver a quality class and contribute to a high quality working environment, because they work in Education, it’s exactly their job.
Of course this is a utopia. You know it, that’s probably why you landed on this page. So please, let me clarify now why
Consultancy can be the key to unlock your organization’s potential!
- A fresh objective view
You know how sometimes when you’re dealing with an issue in your life, you talk to friends and family for their opinions and often their opinions can change your point of view and you find the correct solution? The same applies to consultancy, someone who is not directly involved with your organization brings a fresh and new perspective into the game.
Because consultants often work with many different companies and may have worked through this problem in the past with someone else, they can really provide a perspective based on what they’ve seen work (or not) before. And given this experience, they can often bring new and innovative ideas or possible challenges that people involved in the organization probably wouldn’t have been able to see on their own.
- Help positive changes
Sometimes, when you are working on a challenging problem or a big restructuring, it can be hard to make decisions or take the necessary actions without getting wrapped up in emotions or politics. Therefore you might need support in order to run with a new idea that goes against the much rooted, well established, old routine within your organization.
- Training and mentoring
Schools which invest in teacher training are better schools.
Do you agree?
Better organizations, better teachers, better students!
First and foremost, we’ll have to get to know each other. We will have a nice chat in person, or through a video call and I’ll listen to your needs, your objectives and the goals you want to achieve. If you have no clear targets yet, I will help you to set them to start our partnership.
Depending on the goals, I might need to observe and get to know your institution. It’s important to get to know how it’s run in full details and have a clear vision of where we are starting from so that we can successfully plan all the necessary actions.
Each institution/school/organization works in its own way, therefore it’ll be necessary to come up with a specific plan after having observed how the institution works.
This is when we’ll work out the details of the plan and agree on the way forward. Normally a few interactions might be needed in order to tailor it to your needs.
And now it’s action time! With the plan drawn, it’s time to act!
After the work has been done and the objectives reached, we’ll be celebrate the success!
